Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate
• Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Understanding of labour legislation and regulations
• Knowledge of the Employment Services Act and Public Service Act
• Familiarity with Batho Pele principles

• Computer literacy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Strong listening skills
• Professional telephone etiquette
• Interviewing skills
• Ability to interpret legislation and policies

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the registration of work seekers on the ESSA system
• Register employment and learning opportunities on ESSA
• Refer job seekers for Employment Counselling services
• Provide administrative support for placement opportunities
• Perform general administrative duties
• Participate in advocacy and awareness sessions when required
