Requirements:

Applicants must possess a Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate qualification. A valid driver’s licence will be considered an added advantage.

Candidates should have knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines, as well as labour legislation and regulations, the Employment Services Act, Public Service Act and Regulations, and Batho Pele principles.

Required competencies include computer literacy, communication skills, interpersonal relations, problem-solving abilities, listening skills, telephone etiquette, interviewing techniques, and the ability to interpret legislation.

Duties:

The successful candidates will be responsible for registering work seekers on the ESSA system and capturing available work and learning opportunities. Duties also include referring work seekers for employment counselling services and providing administrative support related to placing candidates in employment and learning opportunities.

Additional responsibilities include performing general administrative tasks and participating in advocacy and awareness sessions when required.
