Overview
NN Legal Recoveries is offering a valuable opportunity for ambitious and driven individuals to join its Debt Recovery Learnership Programme. This programme is designed to provide both practical workplace exposure and theoretical training in debt collection, legal recoveries, and credit management.
The learnership is aligned with accredited unit standards, equipping participants with essential skills and knowledge within the financial services and debt recovery sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with debtors via phone, email, and written communication
- Negotiate repayment plans in accordance with company policies
- Accurately record all debtor interactions
- Ensure compliance with the National Credit Act (NCA) and POPIA
- Address customer queries and resolve disputes professionally
- Support legal recovery processes where necessary
- Achieve monthly targets and performance objectives
Learning Programme Content
Participants will receive training in the following areas:
- Debt Collection Processes
- Legal Framework of Debt Recovery
- Customer Service and Communication Skills
- Credit Risk Management
- Negotiation Techniques
- Regulatory Compliance (NCA & POPIA)
- Financial Administration
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are advantageous)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet targets
- No prior experience required (full training will be provided)
