Salary: R7,000 – R10,000 per month (based on experience)
Role Overview
This position combines driving and warehouse responsibilities. The successful candidate will divide their time between handling deliveries and supporting warehouse operations. The ideal applicant should be reliable, physically fit, and take ownership of their duties.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Duties:
- Collect and deliver parcels to courier depots
- Conduct local deliveries to customers and businesses around Johannesburg
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly fuelled
- Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and proof of delivery
Warehouse Duties:
- Pick, pack, and label orders for dispatch
- Receive and inspect incoming stock against purchase orders
- Store stock accurately and neatly
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
- Perform basic administrative tasks (dispatch sheets, tracking numbers, filing PODs)
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence
- Valid PDP (Goods)
- Clean driving record
- Physically fit (able to lift up to 25kg)
- Reliable, punctual, and honest
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to commute to Honeydew
Advantageous (Not Essential)
- Previous experience in warehouse, dispatch, or courier roles
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g. Takealot, Amazon)
- Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse systems
- Basic computer skills
