Job Overview

A company in Vredenburg is looking for a reliable and responsible Driver to transport goods safely from the warehouse to customers. The successful candidate will ensure deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and with excellent customer service while maintaining company vehicles and delivery records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load customer orders onto the delivery vehicle each day.
  • Verify loaded stock against delivery invoices before departure.
  • Safely transport and deliver goods to customers according to schedule.
  • Take full responsibility for all stock loaded, transported, and offloaded.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete the required checklist.
  • Follow all road traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments when required.
  • Communicate professionally with customers to provide excellent service.
  • Collect returned goods from customers when necessary.
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • At least 2 years of driving or delivery experience.
  • Valid Code 8 or Code 10 driver's licence with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Physically fit and able to handle loading and unloading duties.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.

Salary: R7,300 per month.
