Job Overview
A retail company is looking for a reliable and experienced Driver to join its team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of goods, including deliveries to the Takealot Distribution Centre (DC), while ensuring products are handled with care and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect goods from customers and suppliers.
- Complete deliveries to the Takealot Distribution Centre (DC).
- Collect, pack, and prepare items for transportation.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely and within scheduled timeframes.
- Maintain company vehicles in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Comply with all road traffic regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen.
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a delivery driver.
- Recent police clearance certificate.
- Good knowledge of delivery routes and safe driving practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
