About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a professional Driver to join a dynamic dealership team in Johannesburg. This role is responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant transportation of vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining company assets.

The ideal candidate is reliable, disciplined, customer-focused, and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Deliveries & Collections

• Safely transport vehicles between branches, workshops, detailing centres, and customer locations.

• Ensure all vehicle deliveries and collections are completed within agreed timelines.

• Accurately record and update vehicle movements and trip information.

• Communicate delivery progress and arrival times to relevant teams.

Vehicle Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all road traffic laws and company driving policies.

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips.

• Ensure vehicle documentation, licensing, and delivery paperwork are complete and submitted on time.

• Maintain accident-free and safe driving practices.

Logistics & Documentation

• Keep accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and trip reports.

• Maintain organised vehicle documentation and key management systems.

• Ensure all records are updated and available for auditing purposes.

Problem Resolution

• Respond promptly to delivery delays, breakdowns, and route changes.

• Report vehicle defects or mechanical issues immediately.

• Assist in resolving transport-related challenges efficiently.

Team Support

• Work closely with sales teams, workshop staff, detailing teams, and customers.

• Provide updates regarding vehicle conditions and fuel levels.

• Assist with dealership operations when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.

• Valid South African Code 8 or Code 10 Driver's Licence.

• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).

• Minimum 2–3 years' professional driving experience.

• Previous dealership or automotive industry experience will be advantageous.

• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.

• Proven record of safe driving and meeting delivery deadlines.
