Job Purpose

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager and Team Leader, you will support transport and warehouse functions by safely delivering and collecting consignments across South Africa within required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Logistics:

• Collect and deliver consignments efficiently across various local locations.

• Plan effective routes to ensure on-time collections and deliveries.

• Handle communication professionally with client sites, airlines, and handling facilities.

• Manage timeous communication regarding delays or consignment discrepancies with Transport, Import, and Export Operations.

Warehouse & Operations Support:

• Prepare and label shipments accurately for dispatch.

• Assist with the weekly/monthly packing, stacking, and monitoring of durable and consumable assets.

• Maintain absolute cleanliness and tidiness in both the warehouse and company vehicles.

• Understand packaging configurations and strictly follow preparation instructions.

Documentation & Compliance:

• Complete, obtain, and verify crucial shipping paperwork (including Retrieval notes, MAWB, and HAWB).

• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, legibly, and handed over to the relevant departments upon returning to the office.
