Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification

  • No prior work experience required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for Road Signs and Road Markings application assessments

  • Ensure proper document management and secure record keeping

  • Provide client liaison and support services

  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical assistance

  • Collect and consolidate information and reports

  • Organise meetings with clients

  • Draft project submissions for approval, business plans, and official correspondence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the permit administration process in accordance with Traffic Regulations for Highways (11)

  • Maintain accurate records on the Abnormal Vehicle Traffic (AVT) system

  • Perform administrative monitoring and oversight functions

  • Plan and coordinate activities within the AV Traffic Office

  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies regarding regulatory and legislative matters

  • Ensure effective operation and maintenance of the AV Traffic system and related records

  • Prepare and respond to annual audit requirements

  • Improve service delivery to clients and the public

  • Ensure continuous availability of services
