Ampath Laboratories is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Assistant (Messenger) to support hospital operations during the night shift. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and professional running of the healthcare environment through the safe and timely delivery of documents, specimens, and other important items across departments and wards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver documents, specimens, and essential items accurately and on time.
- Support daily hospital operations by maintaining efficient workflow across departments.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment where required.
- Handle sensitive and confidential items with professionalism and care.
- Work closely with team members to support excellent patient care and operational efficiency.
- Follow workplace procedures, safety standards, and established protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or similar environment will be advantageous.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
