About the Role

Midstream Electrical Supplies is looking for a dedicated General Worker to join its team. The successful candidate will assist with cabling, maintenance activities, pest control support, and various operational tasks. Training will be provided for specialized duties, including working with bees.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification

• Basic computer skills

• Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans

• Willingness to work overtime and after-hours when required

• Experience or willingness to work with bees (training provided) will be advantageous

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Good listening skills

• Self-motivated and proactive approach to work

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Experience in pest control will be beneficial

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with:

• Installation and maintenance of camera and alarm systems

• General maintenance and pest control activities

• Solar panel cleaning and maintenance

• Pulling and installing data cables as requested by the IT team

• Stock control and inventory management

• Supporting daily operational requirements as needed
