Premier is currently hiring a General Worker Packer for its operations in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This opportunity is suitable for individuals who are hardworking, physically fit, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that all duties within the Promix department are carried out according to operational procedures and workplace safety standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Pack products accurately according to company standards
- Inspect products to ensure quality and proper packaging
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Work closely with team members to meet production targets
- Follow instructions from supervisors and management
- Assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting tasks
- Check seals and packaging quality regularly
- Perform sanitation and cleaning duties when required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- 1 year of experience in the milling industry
- 6 months to 1 year experience working as a packer
Skills and Competencies
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong concentration and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Reliable and accountable work ethic
