General Worker (x3 Positions) – Afrirent Auto

Location: Centurion, Gauteng

Salary: Up to R6 400 per month

Afrirent Auto is seeking three motivated and dependable General Workers to support housekeeping, cleaning, and workplace maintenance functions. The successful candidates will help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment while ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Hospitality Support

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the workplace.

• Prepare and serve refreshments for executives, visitors, and guests.

• Assist with catering arrangements for meetings and events.

• Set up and prepare meeting rooms before scheduled meetings.

• Monitor and replenish kitchen supplies and consumables.

• Track stock levels and report replenishment needs promptly.

• Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials, groceries, and other consumables.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean designated areas through dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

• Conduct routine inspections of allocated work areas.

• Perform deep-cleaning tasks when required.

• Maintain safe and clutter-free common areas.

• Carry out basic maintenance-related duties and report any issues identified.

Occupational Health & Safety Compliance

• Follow all company hygiene and safety procedures.

• Maintain a safe working environment by identifying and reporting hazards.

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies.

• Report maintenance defects, damages, and repair requirements promptly.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 (NQF Level 2).

• 0–6 months of cleaning or housekeeping experience.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
