General Workers (x2) – PepsiCo

PepsiCo is looking for two General Workers to join its production team in Worcester. This role involves supporting daily factory operations while helping to maintain high product quality, food safety, and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, grade, and pack dried fruit according to company quality standards.
- Keep workstations clean and maintain excellent housekeeping practices.
- Assist with receiving, handling, and storing raw materials and finished products.
- Identify and report product defects, contamination risks, or equipment issues.
- Follow production schedules to help achieve daily output targets.
- Participate in stock counts and inventory control activities.
- Accurately complete production records to ensure product traceability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Comply with company policies, food safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality & Food Safety (QFS) standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or factory environment will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, including HACCP principles, is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and remain standing for long periods.
- Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Experience operating production equipment is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
- Physically fit and able to lift moderate loads.
