Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a General Worker / Merchandiser at the China Mall store in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor or Store Manager and will be responsible for stock handling, merchandising, store upkeep, and customer assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Offload incoming stock
• Pack and merchandise stock on shelves
• Assist customers on the shop floor
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organised store
• Label, barcode, and price stock
• Perform general cleaning duties

Requirements

✔ 3–4 years’ experience in retail or customer service
✔ Retail experience is essential
✔ 2–3 years merchandising experience
✔ Strong communication skills
✔ Customer-focused attitude
✔ Clear criminal record
✔ Ability to work weekends and public holidays
✔ Reliable transport
✔ Team player

Salary

💰 R30.23 per hour
