Minimum Requirements

• ABET qualification or equivalent.
• No previous experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge of gardening and grounds maintenance will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of occupational health and safety practices.
• Knowledge of plants, gardening equipment, and landscaping techniques.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good planning, organisational, and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the premises and surrounding areas.
• Sweep and clean outdoor areas and remove litter.
• Empty waste bins and dispose of garden refuse appropriately.
• Perform routine garden maintenance, including watering, pruning, trimming, and planting.
• Mow lawns and remove weeds to maintain landscaped areas.
• Apply insecticides and assist with basic pest control where required.
• Prepare and cultivate soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Operate, clean, and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• Identify and report damaged or faulty gardening equipment.
• Carry out minor repairs to gardening tools and equipment when necessary.
