Job Overview
Toro Financial Planners is looking for a meticulous and experienced Health Administrator to join its team based in Ferndale, Randburg. This role focuses on managing medical aid and gap cover administration, coordinating with healthcare providers and schemes, and ensuring accurate handling of claims and member records.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and manage medical aid claims
- Communicate with medical schemes, healthcare providers, and members
- Address queries related to benefits, claims, and authorisations
- Maintain and update member records and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
- Support reporting and reconciliation of medical aid accounts
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric (a qualification in healthcare administration is advantageous)
- At least 1 year of experience in medical aid administration or a similar role
- Understanding of medical aid schemes, gap cover, and claims processes
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant medical administration systems
