About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available within the Music Usage Department in the Distributions Division. Reporting to the Supervisor: Music Usage, the successful candidates will be responsible for capturing, matching, and linking music usage information from usage journals to the SAMRO database.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong data capturing abilities, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for accuracy and organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, match, and link reported music usage information accurately.
  • Process usage lines from journals into the SAMRO database system.
  • Ensure all captured information is complete and accurate.
  • Support efficient data management and reporting processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Data Capturing role.
  • Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent typing speed and data capturing accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work systematically and analyse information logically.

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of SAMRO systems.
  • Understanding of research methodologies.
