Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

Administrative qualification will be an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations.

Strong planning, organising, written, and verbal communication skills.

General computer literacy.

Ability to ensure compliance with NPA policies, guidelines, and relevant prescripts.
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide administrative support to Senior Staff within the SOCA Unit and Thuthuzela Care Centres (TCCs) in Gauteng Province.
-
Receive, process, review, and capture DNA reports and related requests.
-
Rename and classify reports according to established protocols.
-
Validate outcomes received from Forensic Science Laboratories (FSL).
-
Capture report details and priority requests (including GBV and murder cases) on multiple databases.
-
Allocate and classify reports using SAPS CAS numbers.
-
Maintain proper filing systems and document management processes.
-
Provide procurement administration and logistical support.
-
Administer leave registers and travel arrangements for SOCA staff.
-
Assist with minute-taking, meeting coordination, and collation of reports.
-
Compile and submit monthly work activity reports.
-
Process cell phone and subsistence & travel claims.
-
Distribute resources as directed by supervisors.
-
Ensure proper financial resource utilisation and asset management.
-
Support training administration and ensure policy compliance.
-
Liaise with stakeholders and provide advice to personnel on official matters.
