As a Production Learner, you will work under the guidance of experienced production professionals and assist in various manufacturing processes. This role combines hands-on workplace training with structured learning to help you build a successful career in production and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Assist with the operation of production machinery and equipment under supervision.
- Support manufacturing activities such as blending, mixing, dispensing, packaging, filtering, heating, and compounding.
- Collect, transport, and load raw materials and production ingredients into equipment.
- Follow production formulas, bills of materials, and operating procedures accurately.
- Help ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
- Record production data and monitor equipment readings accurately.
- Assist in identifying and reporting production issues or deviations.
- Participate in quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Prepare products for packaging, storage, or shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute ideas to improve production processes.
- Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Learnership Requirements
- Attend all required classroom-based training sessions.
- Successfully complete the learnership programme and assessments.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and work effectively within a team environment.
