Learners also receive a monthly stipend to support them during the programme. The advert does not state the stipend amount or promise permanent employment after completion.

Only shortlisted candidates would be required to submit certified copies of qualifications and other supporting documents before the interview.

Although the application instructions request a reference number, a specific number is not visible in the supplied advert. Applicants should use the number shown on the relevant vacancy portal entry.

How were applications submitted?

Applications had to be submitted through the SAHPRA vacancies portal. Only fully completed applications submitted through the online application form would be considered.

The advert lists Ms K Mabuza, Learning and Development Specialist, as the contact for enquiries at khanyisile.mabuza@sahpra.org.za. This email address was for enquiries only; applications sent to it would not be considered.

Employment equity and selection

SAHPRA states that it is an equal opportunity employer. The advert indicates that preference would be given to people with disabilities, males of all races, and Coloured and White females. Applicants with disabilities were encouraged to disclose their disability status.

Incomplete applications or applications missing required information would not be considered. The advert also advises applicants to regard their applications as unsuccessful if they receive no response within one month of the advert being placed.

Checking for future opportunities

As the advertised deadline has passed, interested candidates can check the SAHPRA vacancies portal for future learnership notices. Any new intake should be assessed against its own requirements, application instructions and closing date.
