Role Overview
A growing organisation is expanding into the training and development sector and is seeking a skilled SETA & Training Compliance Officer to lead accreditation, programme coordination, and compliance processes. This position requires a self-driven professional with solid knowledge of the SETA landscape and the ability to operate independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee SETA accreditation processes
- Align qualifications with organisational training needs
- Prepare and submit Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR)
- Handle all SETA-related applications and submissions
- Monitor submissions through to approval, ensuring compliance at every stage
- Manage the full learner lifecycle, including:
- Enrolment and contracting
- Uploading information onto SETA systems
- Progress tracking and reporting
- Ensure adherence to SETA, QCTO, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready records
- Liaise with SETA officials and key stakeholders
- Support internal training and development initiatives
Minimum Requirements (Essential)
- Proven hands-on experience with SETA processes
- Experience compiling and submitting WSP & ATR reports
- Familiarity with SETA MIS systems
- Strong understanding of accreditation and compliance requirements
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Advantageous Qualifications & Experience
- Exposure to multiple SETAs
- Experience within a training provider or learning institution
- Knowledge of QCTO occupational qualifications
