Clicks Group is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join its Benoni store as Shop Assistants/Cashiers. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with customers in a fast-paced retail environment while delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the point of sale (POS) efficiently and accurately.
• Scan products, process customer payments, and apply ClubCard rewards correctly.
• Handle cash responsibly and ensure accurate cash management at all times.
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard programme and encourage customers to sign up.
• Inform customers about current promotions, specials, and special offers.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Replenish shelves and maintain attractive product displays in line with merchandising standards.
• Keep the store clean, organised, and well-presented.
• Stay informed about products, promotions, and store events to assist customers effectively.
• Support the company's commitment to being South Africa's preferred health and beauty retailer.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Previous retail or customer service experience will be an advantage.
• Mathematics and English (50% or above in Grade 12) will be beneficial.

Knowledge and Skills

• Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills.
• Understanding of retail, merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Knowledge of stock control processes.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
