Clicks Group is looking for 10 Shop Assistant/Cashiers to join its store in Vosloorus, Gauteng. This permanent opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a successful retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Shop Assistant/Cashier, you will be responsible for:

• Operating the point of sale (POS) efficiently and accurately.
• Scanning merchandise and processing customer payments.
• Handling cash securely and following company cash-handling procedures.
• Promoting the Clicks ClubCard programme and assisting customers with new registrations.
• Informing customers about promotions and special offers to enhance their shopping experience.
• Delivering friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
• Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive merchandise displays.
• Ensuring the store remains clean, organised, and visually appealing.
• Staying informed about products, promotions, and company campaigns.
• Supporting the company's commitment to outstanding customer service and retail excellence.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification:

• Grade 12 (Matric).

Advantageous:

• Grade 12 Mathematics (50% or higher).
• Grade 12 English (50% or higher).
• Previous retail or FMCG customer service experience.

Knowledge and Skills

Successful candidates should have:

• Basic mathematical and numeracy skills.
• Understanding of retail operations and merchandising.
• Knowledge of stock control and customer service principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
