Programme Overview

This learnership offers structured, practical workplace training aimed at developing strong commercial understanding and hands-on merchandising skills. Learners will gain experience in servicing customers, supporting sales growth, managing order processes, and executing merchandising standards across designated areas.

The role reports to the Account Developer and involves collaboration with internal teams and customers.

Key Interactions

• Sales Team Members: Collaborate on daily operations and share insights
• Account Developer: Receive training, mentorship, and performance feedback
• Consumers: Understand buying behaviour to support sales and product strategies

Key Responsibilities

In-Store Execution & Merchandising

• Follow daily call schedules across allocated outlets
• Implement merchandising standards and maintain product displays
• Ensure stock rotation, product quality, and availability
• Complete execution scorecards and iRED survey requirements
• Support customers with ordering via the MyCCBA platform
• Assist with promotional campaigns and brand visibility initiatives
• Provide support in other areas when required by management

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 with Mathematics or Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
• Grade 12 with English and an additional language (minimum 40%)
• South African citizen
• Aged between 18 and 35
• Must be unemployed at the time of application
• Not currently enrolled in another learnership or full-time studies
• Must not have completed the same qualification previously
• No criminal record or adverse credit history
• Willing to undergo verification checks (ID, qualifications, criminal record)
• Ability to work six days per week
• Employment Equity candidates preferred

Advantageous:

• Valid driver’s licence
• Post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing

Additional Information

• The programme runs for 12 months
• Learners must complete 120 credits to obtain the qualification
