KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Receive and assess all Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims using the relevant systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Register employers and verify employee declarations in line with applicable legislation.
-
Process and execute approved claim payments within prescribed timeframes.
-
Respond to enquiries relating to processed claims and related matters.
-
Perform general administrative duties within the section.

Each advertised post requires a separate, fully completed, initialled and signed Z83 form. Incomplete or unsigned forms will lead to disqualification.
All sections of the Z83 form (Sections A, B, C and D) must be fully completed. For Sections E, F and G, applicants may indicate “Refer to CV” due to limited space; however, the declaration in Part F (conditions preventing re-appointment) must be answered and signed.
Only shortlisted candidates will be requested to submit certified copies of qualifications and supporting documents prior to the interview, as communicated by Human Resources.
Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide a SAQA evaluation report (required only if shortlisted).
