About the Role

Ai-CHAFOOD is seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment while assisting with stock handling, loading and unloading, and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse, including floors, shelves, storage areas, and workstations.
• Organize, stack, and store products and materials in designated locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries from trucks and containers.
• Move stock and materials within the warehouse as directed.
• Ensure goods are stacked securely to prevent damage and maintain workplace safety.
• Collect and dispose of packaging materials and general warehouse waste.
• Support inventory counts and stock arrangement during stock-taking activities.
• Comply with all workplace health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Report damaged stock, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Operate warehouse tools and equipment safely.
• Perform additional warehouse-related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, cleaning, stacking, or general labour will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and stacking goods.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
• Good time management, reliability, and punctuality.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

Working Conditions
