About the Role

Manpower SA is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Assistant to join a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate should have experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment while ensuring smooth stock movement and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a General Forklift and High Reach Truck
• Load and offload stock accurately and within required timelines
• Stack products safely according to storage guidelines
• Prepare and dispatch stock according to documentation
• Move stock within the warehouse as needed
• Maintain accurate stock records and documentation
• Verify weighbridge information for incoming and outgoing stock
• Ensure products are properly packed, labelled, and stored
• Keep warehouse areas clean, dry, and hazard-free
• Clean equipment before shift handover or end of shift
• Report damaged or faulty equipment immediately
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements
• Conduct risk assessments before starting tasks
• Support team members and contribute to productivity
• Work overtime when operationally required

Minimum Requirements

• NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent
• Valid Forklift Licence
• Valid High Reach Licence
• At least 2 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations
• Good knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
