A leading supplier of solar and renewable energy products is looking for a dependable and physically fit Warehouse Loader to join its warehouse team in North Riding. The successful candidate will assist with loading and unloading stock, preparing customer orders for dispatch, and ensuring goods are handled safely and accurately throughout the warehouse.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, logistics, or loading environment will be an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and moving stock safely.
- Able to work accurately under pressure and follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to assist with general warehouse duties when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and offload stock, customer orders, and delivery vehicles.
- Move, pack, wrap, and prepare goods for dispatch.
- Ensure the correct items are loaded according to delivery notes, waybills, and dispatch instructions.
- Work closely with the warehouse and dispatch teams to meet daily delivery schedules.
- Assist with customer collections and third-party transport collections.
- Inspect goods for visible damage and report any issues immediately.
- Handle fragile, heavy, and high-value items with care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised loading and dispatch area.
- Assist with stock movement, housekeeping, and stock counts when required.
- Follow company health and safety policies, warehouse procedures, and manual handling guidelines.
Added Advantages:
- Experience in wholesale distribution, logistics, electrical, solar, or renewable energy industries.
- Valid forklift licence or experience operating warehouse equipment.
- Basic knowledge of dispatch documentation, including delivery notes, waybills, and proof of delivery (POD) documents.
