Job Overview

A well-established distribution company is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join its warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders, preparing stock for dispatch, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately according to picking slips.
• Verify stock quantities, product codes, and order accuracy.
• Pack customer orders securely to ensure safe transportation.
• Assist with receiving and checking incoming stock.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked warehouse.
• Participate in regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Report damaged goods, stock shortages, and inventory discrepancies.
• Follow all company health, safety, and warehouse procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Previous warehouse or picking experience will be an advantage.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move stock safely.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to meeting deadlines.
