Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or an equivalent qualification.
- A National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or Public Management will be an added advantage.
- One year of relevant HR experience will be an added advantage.
- A valid, unexpired driver's licence will be advantageous.
- Introduction to PERSAL certification will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of PERSAL and Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of Human Resource policies and legislation within the Public Service.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, in a team, and under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and work beyond normal office hours when required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will provide administrative support within the Human Resource Management unit by:
- Administering recruitment and selection processes.
- Coordinating Performance Management and Development System (PMDS) activities and training programmes.
- Processing HR transactions, including appointments, leave, promotions, transfers, pension administration, terminations, IOD, and PILIR matters.
- Preparing memorandums, reports, and submissions.
- Providing HR policy advice and guidance to line managers.
- Maintaining HR records, databases, and statistics.
- Responding to HR-related enquiries and ensuring compliance with departmental policies and legislation.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or equivalent qualification.
- One year of experience in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of procurement administration and financial legislation.
- A valid Code 08 driver's licence will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of financial systems such as PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS, or SAP.
- Understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Supply Chain Management regulations.
- Knowledge of Public Service legislation and administrative procedures.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate accountability, and provide excellent customer service.
- Willingness to travel and work outside normal working hours when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will provide administrative support within the Supply Chain Management unit by:
- Coordinating procurement demand plans and ensuring procurement activities align with approved plans.
- Sourcing quotations and assisting with tender, bid evaluation, and adjudication processes.
- Managing procurement documentation, requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and supplier payments.
- Maintaining procurement registers and Supply Chain records.
- Handling supplier enquiries and maintaining supplier databases.
- Administering stores, inventory, and asset management functions.
- Conducting stocktaking, asset verification, barcoding, and maintaining asset registers.
- Issuing and receiving goods, furniture, equipment, and accessories.
- Identifying obsolete or redundant assets for disposal.
- Providing administrative and logistical support during procurement and contract processes.
- Receiving requests for goods and services, placing orders, verifying deliveries, and issuing items to end users.
- Performing general filing, recordkeeping, and clerical support in accordance with SCM policies.
