Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Customer service orientation and responsiveness
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Office Suite
  • Documentation administration and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, professionally, and accountably

Duties

  • Register and scan incoming dockets
  • Capture and update cases on the Electronic Case Management System (ECMS)
  • Generate reports and statistics from ECMS
  • Assist prosecutors and SAPS with case flow queries
  • Maintain integrity and accuracy of captured data
  • Provide case administration and document management
  • Prepare court statistics and monthly reports
  • Liaise with SAPS regarding urgent or missing dockets
  • Communicate with witnesses and complainants regarding court matters
  • Maintain office filing systems and provide administrative support
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required by supervisors
