What You Will Learn

During the learnership, you will receive practical training in:

• Airfreight import and export operations
• Cargo bookings with airlines and freight handling agents
• Preparation of House Air Waybills (HAWB) and Master Air Waybills (MAWB)
• CargoWise system registration and job management
• Coordinating shipments with airlines, transport providers, ground handlers and clients
• Preparing and managing shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and permits
• Basic customs procedures and compliance requirements
• Shipment tracking, reporting and exception management
• Professional communication with customers and internal departments

Minimum Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to follow procedures and work accurately
• Willingness to learn and receive guidance
• Reliable, professional and punctual work ethic

Added Advantages

The following will strengthen your application but are not compulsory:

• Qualification or studies in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business
• Previous exposure to logistics, freight forwarding or aviation
• Basic knowledge of CargoWise software
• Valid driver's licence
