About the Opportunity
Motus Toyota Bedfordview is offering an exciting opportunity for a Level 1 Apprentice. This programme is ideal for individuals who are passionate about motor vehicle repairs and aspire to qualify as Motor Mechanic Technicians through a structured apprenticeship programme of up to three years.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist technicians with a variety of workshop duties, including:
- Assisting with vehicle repairs under technician supervision
- Removing and replacing vehicle parts and components
- Jacking up vehicles and positioning trestles safely
- Lubricating vehicles and changing oils according to specifications
- Removing and fitting wheels, batteries, air filters, and oil filters
- Assisting with general workshop repairs and maintenance
- Cleaning vehicle parts and maintaining housekeeping standards
- Attending prescribed technical and training courses
- Keeping tools, equipment, overalls, and work areas clean and organised
- Following all workplace safety procedures
- Performing additional reasonable duties when required
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science
- A clear criminal record
- Good teamwork and customer service skills
