🚀 Apprenticeship Programme Overview

Howden South Africa is inviting applications from unemployed youth for its 4-year Apprenticeship Programme. This programme is ideal for individuals who are passionate about building a career as skilled artisans.

A total of five (5) apprenticeship positions are available in the following trades:

• Boilermakers (2 positions)
• Welder (1 position)
• Mechanical Fitters (2 positions)

📍 Training Locations

• Gauteng (Booysens): 2 Boilermakers, 1 Welder
• Mpumalanga:
  • Arnot: 1 Mechanical Fitter
  • Kendal: 1 Mechanical Fitter

📚 Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following academic requirements:

• Technical Matric with Mathematics and Science, OR
• N3 qualification with relevant trade subjects

Additional requirements:

• Certified copy of latest academic results
• Certified copy of ID
• Strong engineering aptitude
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team

⚠️ Special Requirements

• Must be medically fit
• Must pass psychometric assessments
• No criminal record (police clearance required)
