Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10
• Valid Code C, EC, or EC1 (04) driver’s licence with PrDP
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• At least 1 year experience as a bus or truck driver

Key Responsibilities

• Operate municipal buses along designated routes
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any faults
• Ensure passengers pay correct fares and that ticketing systems function properly
• Accurately complete trip logs and submit them at the end of each shift
• Assist passengers with route information, fares, and ticket validity
• Report route issues, incidents, and accidents, and complete required documentation
• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, respectful environment for passengers
