Overview
National Renal Care is seeking a qualified, driven, and self-motivated individual to join their team as a Care Worker at the LRC Lenasia unit. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the patient experience by assisting with and maintaining patients’ basic needs, while contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) with basic numeracy and literacy
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role (renal experience is advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused with a positive attitude
- Team player with high energy levels
- Well-organised and detail-oriented
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to quality work
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean dialysis machines before each patient session in line with NRC standards
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on generators, report issues, and ensure proper refuelling
- Manage stock and waste according to financial and operational policies
- Provide patient-centred care, including meal preparation aligned with dietary requirements
- Maintain strict infection control and occupational health and safety standards
- Test machine alarms before each dialysis session to ensure safety
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to healthcare practices
- Uphold National Renal Care values and deliver care aligned with “The NRC Way”
