Position Overview

Fidelity Services Group is seeking a Driver for its Mthatha branch. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for transporting crew members and custodians to safely collect and deliver clients’ cash, ensuring proper documentation and proof of delivery.


Minimum Requirements

  • Clear criminal record

  • PSIRA registration (minimum Grade C)

  • Cash-in-Transit (CIT) certificate

  • Firearm competency (minimum handgun for business purposes)

  • Valid driver’s licence (minimum Code C1) with a valid PDP

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the security industry or a similar role (experience within Fidelity Services Group is advantageous)

  • Physically fit and able to work under pressure


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely collect and deliver clients’ cash with full accountability

  • Report any delays immediately to the Operations Manager

  • Prevent, identify, and report incidents or suspicious activities

  • Maintain constant communication with control room via radio

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and complete checklists

  • Drive responsibly and complete all required documentation for incidents or accidents
