Role Overview

Alert Engine Parts is seeking a reliable Driver to join its Krugersdorp team. The role focuses on the safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods, ensuring all operational procedures and company standards are strictly followed.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum of 3 years’ delivery driving experience
• Valid driver’s licence with PDP (essential)
• Strong time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Honest, reliable, and maintains integrity
• Sober habits and clear criminal record

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections before departure and upon return
• Submit completed inspection checklists weekly to the Dispatch Supervisor
• Report any vehicle faults before leaving the premises
• Verify parcels with the supervisor before loading, following dispatch procedures
• Deliver goods according to assigned routes, schedules, and trip sheets
• Ensure compliance with Proof of Delivery (POD) procedures
• Follow all Return for Credit (RFC) processes
• Deliver and collect all required documents linked to assigned trips
• Submit completed trip sheets and documentation to the POD clerk
• Take responsibility for any outstanding trip sheets or missing PODs
• Avoid unauthorized stock transfers between customer locations
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly
• Escalate delivery or documentation issues to the Dispatch Supervisor
