Role Overview
Motus Toyota Bryanston is currently seeking a reliable and responsible Light Duty Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing driving duties and assisting with general departmental tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver parts to suppliers, branches, and customers
- Collect parts from external suppliers and other branches
- Ensure all goods are transported safely and without damage
- Inspect vehicles for defects, damages, and roadworthiness
- Ensure vehicles are securely locked when not in use
- Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations
- Assist customers during deliveries when required
- Check vehicles for missing items such as spare wheels and tools
- Ensure vehicle keys are stored securely
- Perform additional duties as required by the department
- Be available to work overtime when necessary
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid driver’s licence with PDP
- Clear criminal record
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work well within a team
- Excellent verbal communication skills
