The City of Ekurhuleni is inviting applications for the position of Driver Messenger: Inventory & Logistics within the Finance Department. This permanent opportunity is ideal for individuals with driving experience and a background in logistics or supply chain operations who are committed to delivering efficient support services.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10 or an equivalent NQF Level 2 qualification.
• Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• 1–2 years' experience in a corporate, logistics, or supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect mail, documents, and goods within the assigned area.
• Ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of items in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
• Operate Council vehicles responsibly and ensure compliance with governance and risk management requirements.
• Assist in controlling vehicle-related expenses by promoting the proper use of fuel and maintenance resources.
• Maintain high standards of customer service while supporting departmental objectives and operational efficiency.
