About the Role

The Individual Touch is looking for a reliable and responsible Driver to join its delivery team in Vredenburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting customer orders safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Load customer orders onto the delivery vehicle each day.
• Verify invoices against loaded stock before departing.
• Ensure the safe handling, transportation, and delivery of goods.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete the required vehicle checklist.
• Comply with all road traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
• Collect Cash on Delivery (COD) payments where applicable.
• Build positive relationships with customers through professional service.
• Collect returned stock from customers when required.
• Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Report any vehicle defects, delivery issues, or incidents to management.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in driving or delivery services.
• Valid South African Code 8 or Code 10 driver's licence.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Physically fit and able to load and unload deliveries.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
