Role Overview

The Graduate Trainee position is a structured development role designed to provide recent graduates with valuable, hands-on work experience. The successful candidate will meet predefined business objectives while performing diverse tasks—such as research, analysis, administration, and project work—that add tangible value to the business unit. On-the-job training will be provided throughout the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Quality Work: Maintain excellence and a strong quality orientation in all assigned tasks, projects, and deliverables.

• Operational Efficiency: Execute daily responsibilities efficiently through proactive planning, timely reporting, and regular progress updates.

• Project Contribution: Provide innovative, proactive, and relevant insights to support various business projects.

• Collaboration: Actively participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives with peers and business stakeholders.

• Professional Development: Manage a personal development plan to build skills and competencies, and fulfill all requirements of the FirstJob Development Programme with partnered training institutions.

• Culture Alignment: Uphold, advocate for, and align with FirstRand’s shared values and business philosophy.
