About the Position
A construction company based in Roodepoort is looking for hardworking and reliable General Workers to assist with various construction and labour-related duties on-site. Candidates should be physically fit, committed, and able to work well under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Digging trenches and assisting with construction work
- Mixing concrete, plaster sand, building sand, and Rhino-lite
- Carrying out minor demolition tasks
- Removing rubble and cleaning construction sites
- Assisting with general labour duties as instructed by management
Requirements
- Must live in Roodepoort or within a 15km radius
- Reliable transport to the office or pick-up point is essential
- Valid South African ID required
- Must be dependable, hardworking, and willing to follow instructions
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
Working Hours
- Work starts at 06:45 AM
- Company vehicles leave sites at 16:00 PM, with return times depending on traffic conditions
Additional Information
- 3-month probation period applies
- Contract length: 3 months
- Opportunity for permanent employment based on performance
