About the Role
Premier is seeking a dedicated and reliable General Worker to support production operations by ensuring a continuous supply of products and packaging materials on the production line. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality, workplace cleanliness, and compliance with food safety and health standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply products and packaging materials to production lines to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Receive and store sweets in trays according to company procedures.
- Ensure products are stored in clean, labelled containers with the correct batch numbers.
- Verify that finished products are stored correctly and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment.
- Report any quality, food safety, or workplace safety concerns immediately.
- Contribute ideas to improve production processes and plant efficiency.
- Follow all quality standards and implement corrective actions when required.
- Participate actively in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and wear the required PPE at all times.
- Safeguard company-issued safety equipment and report hazards, incidents, or accidents promptly.
- Ensure workstations are clean at the beginning and end of each shift.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in an FMCG production environment will be advantageous.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong planning and organisational abilities.

- Basic literacy and numeracy.
