Minimum Requirements
- Basic literacy and numeracy (ABET Level 2) or an equivalent qualification recognised by SAQA.
- Knowledge and understanding of Public Service legislation, policies and relevant Acts.
- Good planning, communication and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work responsibly, maintain records and perform field patrol duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the movement of cloven-hoofed animals within designated areas.
- Conduct regular patrols of boundary fences and redline gates to ensure security and compliance.
- Monitor and control quarantined animals in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of patrols, inspections and animal movements.
- Report damaged fences, security breaches and any unusual incidents to the relevant authorities.
- Assist in protecting livestock and preventing the spread of animal diseases.

Minimum Requirements
- ABET/AET or an equivalent qualification recognised by SAQA.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, gardening practices and the safe use of basic gardening tools and equipment.
- Understanding of equipment maintenance procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, productive and committed to providing good customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general support and maintenance duties.
- Clean and maintain government buildings, premises and surrounding grounds.
- Care for and safely store gardening tools and equipment.
- Assist with moving furniture, office equipment and other items when required.
- Remove waste, rubbish and empty boxes from designated areas.
- Assist with receiving, loading and offloading stock, supplies and equipment.
- Report damaged or missing equipment to the relevant supervisor.
- Clean and maintain government vehicles.
- Perform any other general duties assigned by management.
