Afrirent Auto is looking for 2 General Workers to join its team in Centurion. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of trucks and trailers while ensuring a safe, hygienic, and well-organised working environment. The role also requires compliance with the company's occupational health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and clean the exterior of trucks and trailers according to company procedures.
• Inspect vehicles, trailers, and tarpaulins to ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Perform thorough inspections after each wash.
• Use the correct cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene in all work areas.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report when stock needs replenishing.
• Ensure cleaning products are adequately stocked.
• Keep wash bay and surrounding areas clean and free of hazards.
• Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenance of the wash bay.
• Meet daily cleaning schedules and productivity targets.
• Report vehicle damage, faults, or maintenance issues to management.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
• Identify and report workplace hazards or repair requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• At least 2 years of experience in vehicle washing or a similar cleaning environment.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or as part of a team.

Salary: R6,400 per month
