Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is inviting applications for its In-Service Trainee: Manufacturing Planning opportunity within the Manufacturing Department. This programme is ideal for students studying Operations Management who need workplace experience to complete their qualification.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Team Leader and gain valuable practical exposure in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an In-Service Trainee, you will have the opportunity to:

• Gain hands-on experience in manufacturing planning and operations.

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Exposure to manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of stores-related ERP systems (beneficial).
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to identify and apply innovative business solutions.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (minimum 40%).
• Two South African languages passed at 40% or above.
• Be currently studying towards an Operations Management qualification.
• Completed all theoretical modules and require practical workplace exposure to graduate.
• A letter from their educational institution confirming that workplace experience is required to complete the qualification.
• Never participated in an In-Service Trainee Programme with another employer or organisation.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must:

• Be South African citizens.
• Be between 18 and 35 years old.
• Have been unemployed at the time of appointment.
• Be available to complete the required workplace experiential learning programme.

• Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Certified copy of their Matric certificate.
• Certified copy of their latest academic transcript.
• Official Work Integrated Learning (WIL) or experiential learning letter from their institution.
