Programme Overview

Valterra Platinum is offering an Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2 Unemployed) for individuals passionate about building a career in engineering. This programme provides hands-on training, technical development, and exposure to the mining industry.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Matric with Mathematics (not Maths Literacy), Physical Science, and English (minimum 40% pass), OR

• N2 or higher qualification with relevant subjects, including:

  • Plating & Structural Steelwork / Welder’s Theory

  • Structural & Steelwork Drawings

  • Mathematics

  • Engineering Science

• OR NCV Level 4 in a relevant trade (minimum 40% pass in all subjects)

• Copy of South African ID

• Proof of residence (required for applicants from host communities)
