Job Overview

An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Parts Packer to join a reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of parts within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Parts Manager in maintaining a steady and efficient supply of parts to technicians
• Process parts picking slips promptly and accurately
• Pick, verify, and record parts before packing and dispatch
• Maintain accurate stock control and counting procedures
• Follow company policies and operational standards at all times
• Comply strictly with Health and Safety regulations
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and company assets
• Keep the workspace clean, organised, and safe
• Support additional warehouse functions as required
• Participate in training initiatives to enhance performance
• Build positive working relationships with team members
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Parts Manager

Minimum Requirements

• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar warehouse or parts environment
• Good understanding of stock control and warehouse operations
• Strong accuracy in counting and handling stock
• Valid Code 10 driver’s licence
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
• Basic literacy in English (reading and writing)
• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
• Clear criminal record
